MVC VEHICLE OVERTURNED. BREVARD PLACE RD. (LINCOLN COUNTY)

 August 4, 2006

7232006 Engine 201 and Truck 208 was dispatched to a vehicle overturned with possible entrapment. Call was dispatched to Alexis approximately at 2030hrs. Engine 201 arrived on scene to find a small pick up truck overturned and about 100 in the woods off of the road. Lt. Jolly confirmed entrapment with dispatch and E-201 set up light tower and began initial patient care and started cribbing the vehicle. Truck 208 with Chief Robinson arrived and assumed Incident Command. Units from Lincoln County EMS and East Lincoln Rescue squad arrived on scene and worked with us to free the subject from vehicle. Then the scene was turned over to the NC State Highway Patrol and all Alexis units cleared.

Prayers for all involved. As for the investigation, something tells me blue car in wrong lane may be a clue...

I live here, this turn is just really blind plus it throws you out really bad so it’s hard not to come down on the bottom just a little

Which end of Rhyne Rd? High Shoals or Mayberry/upper Spencer Mtn?

David Gore I agree look at skid marks blue car came to dead stop on impact black car applied brakes is what I think

Did everyone end up being ok in this accident.. I've been thinking of the people involved..
