Gaston County has issued a Burning Ban period. The Ranger informed me at the scene. the only thing you can burn is a bonfire in a metal pit with a mesh lid. They are giving no warnings, it will be a ticket.

This is what happens when you burn on a burning ban. Thanks to Barney Smith Graysin Peglow Jeffrey Thomas Royster and the Alexis Fire department for knocking it out before it spread.

Lincoln County Fire Marshal Office has issued a burn ban with in 100 feet of your residence. Gaston has not as of yet

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will direct your path.

In this time of uncertainty and fear, take a deep breath and focus on the one who is in control in the middle of chaos. We are all having to make adjustments and sacrifices from our normal routine. Let me encourage you to take this time to spend some quality time with your families and with the Lord. Spend time together in his word and in prayer. May this downtime in life bring you and your family closer together to each other and to him. Remember, God is in control in the good times and in the bad times. All you need to do is trust in him.
