pnbspEngine 200 responded mutual aid for High Shoals station21 for a reported structure fire on Old Hardin Rd. High Shoals Engine 212 arrived on the scene to find a twonbspstory wood from structure with heavy smoke and fire showing through the roofnbsp on the c-side of the structure. It was reported that two kid were inside but they had escaped prior to the attack crew entering the structure. The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes and was confined to the attic space chimney areanbspand roof area. One Alexis firefighter was injured during the initial attack and was transported to GMH for minor injuries. He was released and is doing fine. Other departments that responded were Spencer Mt 18 Ag Center 61 GEMS Dallas Rescue and Gaston County Fire Marshalls office.p
