Eng 200 responded to assist Boger City Station 4 with five volunteers for a fully involved hay barn on fire threating a residental structure horse barnand a building with farm equipment stored inside on Will Link Ln off Hwy 73. Boger City Eng 42 arrived on scene and made an exterior attack protected exposures and set up a portable drop tank to start a tanker shuttle operation. BC command appointed water supply command to Alexiss Chief Robinson to cordinate the tankers from Alexis Pumkin Center Eng 112 N.321 Eng 102 Lincolnton Eng 3 and Eng 41 and 43 from Boger City. The fire was under control at 2000 hrs and a control time was issued. All companies remained on the scene til the early morning hours shuttling water and with overhaul operations. A track hoe was called in to spread out the hay and tear the barn the rest of the way down to extinguish the fire that contained 2500 square bails of hay several round bails and a tractor.There were no injuries all the horses were evacuated saftly and all exposures saved. All companies cleared around 0300 the next morning. Alexis Eng 200 was back in service at 0330.
