Alexis was dispatched to a brush fire that was out of control off of Mauney Rd. in our first due. On brush 207s arrival we found an active fire with a little over an acre burning and at that time command was established and had Station 18 Spencer Mountain VFD dispatched with a brush truck and tanker. Forestry 2 was also dispatched. The fire was called under control by command within 20 minutes. Units remained on the scene mopping up for about an hour.
