The day got started early in the morning for the 20 house Truck 208 and Engine 201 were dispatched to a man lying in the roadway off of Hines Circle but upon arrival nothing was found. Then about 1015 hrs Engine 200 was dispatched to a fire alarm with Boger City. At about 1919 hrs Engine 201 and Truck 208 were dispatched to a MVC car VS tree head on at Fairlawn Dr. Just prior to Engine 201 arriving on the scene off this crash we were also dispatched to another MVC car overturned and in a creek off of Daybrook Ct. Engine 201 called and had East Lincoln FD dispatched to caver second MVC. Engine 201 determined there were no injuries at the Fairlawn Dr. MVC and had all 20 Units proceed to the Daybrook Ct. MVC crews from East Lincoln and Alexis determined that at the Daybrook Ct. incident there was no one around the vehicle and it had been there for several hours and the scene was turned over to the NC Highway Patrol.Once those were complete is when we really got busy at about 2115 hrs Engine 201 and Truck 208 was dispatched to East Lincoln Motor Speedway for a two vehicle MVC head collision Brush 207 was dispatched as well to bring our portable tools in case the track was too slippery for Engine 201 to drive out on. Upon arrival we had 1 car VS the wall head on with one person entrapped. Engine 201s crew with assistance from Truck 208s crew extricated the driver from his vehicle. While this was going on we were dispatched to a subject with a cut to his arm. Truck 208s crew went with Brush 207 to assist. While tending to this person we received calls for two more subjects that had been involved in a fight and needed medical attention. At this time our crews broke up into to groups to handle the subjects. While trying to get access to those guys we were called for another medical call at the main office. So within a 30 to 45 minute period we had 4 calls and 5 patients with only one serious injury and that ended up not being the driver that we extricated but a guy who stuck his fist through a window and cut his arm. As soon as we checked back in Quarters from the events at the speedway Engine 201 and 200 was dispatched to heavy smoke in the area. All units were back in service by 2300hrs. The funny thing is that all these calls were in our Lincoln County first due and with an exception to the last call they all were within about 1.5 miles of each other.
