At 0257 Engine 201 and T-208 responded to a MVA in the 1000 block of Rhyne Rd. On arrival Alexis units found a single vehicle that had struck a tree head on. The driver of the vehicle was pinned in. Alexis volunteers stabilized the vehicle handled patient care til GEMS arrived and started extrication of the patient. The patient was free from the vehicle at 0318. Station 31 Lucia RiverbendEngine 311had just cleared from a call in there first due area and Command had them respond to set up a landing zone for Med-Center Air to fly the patient to a local trauma center. All units were back in service at 0345.
