At 1313 hours Engine 201 and Truck 208 responded to a two car MVA with one entrapped on Mayberry Rd at Landau Circle. A truck sideswipped a van causing the driver to become entrapped in the van. Engine 201 popped the door to free the driver. The truck struck a tree head on and its driver was air lifted from the scene by Med-Center air. Truck 208 and Gaston Countys Assistant Fire Marshal FM 5 set up the landing zone in a field just across from the accident scene. Alexis units cleared at 1400 hours.
