E-201 QRV-208 and Car 20 responded to single car MVC in our first due on Mariposa Rd near the intersection of Alexis-Lucia Rd. The vehicle was traveling east and went left of center ran off the road and struck a tree. The only victim in the vehicle was DOA. E-201s crew had to extricate the drivers door to remove the victim from the wreckage. Car 20 cleared at 0600 while E-201 and 208 remained on the scene with GEMS and the NC Highway Patrol. All Alexis units were back in service at 0645 hrs.
