On Monday April 16 2007 Boger City Fire and Alexis Fire were dispatched to a possible structure fire on Highway 27 East near Iron Station School in Boger Citys first due. While units were en-route several additional calls came into the Communication Center reporting the structure was fully involved. E42 reported a fully involved single story structure. E41 caught the hydrant and brought a 5 supply to E42. E200 assisted with fire suppression. A control time was issued only 18 minutes after original dispatch. The fire possibly started around a fireplace that was being used for heat and to cook. One person was made homeless but was taken care of by Red Cross.
