Engine 201 responded to a two car MVA head-on collision at the 600 block of Alexis-Lucia Rd in our Gaston County first due. Engine 201 arrived to find heavy damage to both vehicles with the driver of the Honda civic D.O.A and the driver of the van with only minor injuries. Alexis-Lucia Rd was shut down for approx. 2 12 hours while N.C. Highway Patrol conducted their investigation of the violent collision. Engine 311Lucia-River-bendalso responded to assist with the incident. All units were back in service at 1200hrs
