As high winds moved through the Gaston-Lincoln area on Monday Alexis crews were busy with responding to several trees down due to the wind. At 0930 Engine 201 responded to Annas Lane for a tree that had fallen onto and into a residence in our Gaston County first due. The occupant inside escaped without injury but the structure received heavy damage. Duke Power was called out to pull the meter to the residence and Red Cross was notified of the situation. Engine 201 was back in service at 1000.
