pstrongnbspEngine 201 200 and 203 responded to a reported chimney fire with smoke in the structure on Mariposa Rd near Abernathy Way. Engine 201 arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the attic area. East Gaston Lucia and Stanley Fire Departments arrived and assisted with manpower. Crews had to remove ceiling and brick away from the chimney to gain access to the fire. There was extensive salvage and overhaul operations. Crews also removed the outside boxing away from the chimney area.strongp
