Engine 201 and Truck 208 responded to the 5600 block of East Hwy 27 for an overturned box truck hauling mail that struck another vehicle. Hwy 27 was shut down for about an hour while the wreckage was cleaned up and the North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the accident. Truck 208 and Lincoln County Sheriffs Department closed 27 and diverted traffic around the incident down Orchard and Devine Roads. There were no injuries. All Alexis units were back in service at 1753
