pstrongEngine 200 responded mutual aid to assist East Gaston VFD with a fire alarm activated at East Gaston High school. 3001 EG Asst. Chief Brown arrived on the scene to find a smoke in a mechanical room. Engine 300 arrived and sent crews inside the building along with Engine 32 from Community FD. Ladder 34 from Mt. Holly arrived and laddered the building and preformed natural vertical ventilation. Engine 200 arrived and stood by at the plug.nbsp The small fire was contained to the mechanical room and electric fans were used for smoke removal.nbsp All units were clear at 1840strongp
