North Carolina is lifting its burning ban on open burning for the entire state today. The ban will be official lifted at 500 pm today. As of this posting we have not heard about the burning bans for either Gaston or Lincoln County. This means that you may burn 100 feet and beyond any structure. The county burning bans are still in effect as of 800 this morning and this restricts burning within 100 feet of any structure. If and when the counties lift their bans we will post it on our site.
