Engine 200 responded to assist Stanley with a reported building on fire on Hovis Rd. near the Stanley Middle school. Engine 223 Stanley and Engine 200 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the building. Engine 200 caught the hydrant and laid a supply line to 223 while the crew from Alexis made the attack on the fire. The fire was contained to the middle portion of the structure. Engine 303 East Gaston arrived and assisted with ventilation and overhaul operations. The Gaston County Fire Marshals was also called for investigation.
