Alexis was dispatched to a possible structure fire 1833hrs on Mariposa Rd. E-200 checked en-route with a crew of 6 on board. On arrival we found a single story brick structure with smoke showing. Lt.Gann and Lt. Jolly advanced an 1 34 line to the A side of structure. Safety Officer Ray Grantland and Fireman Adam Walsburger conducted the primary search home owners had evacuated the home to the rear. Fire was quickly extinguished and a control time was called for and we disregarded our mutual aid departments which were Stanley VFD with Tanker 220 and East Gaston VFD with E-303. Engine 201s crew helped with ventilation and overhaul operations. All Alexis units cleared 1930hrs.Story submitted by Lt. Rick Jolly AVFD
