Engines 201 and 200 responded to a reported structure fire on Mayberry Rd near Sprull-Smith Rd in our Gaston County first due. Both units arrived on scene to find a single-wide mobile home with heavy smoke showing from the A-B side of the structure. Engine 201s crew made an aggressive interior attack while Engine 200 established a water supply. The fire was held to the rear bedroom of the structure. Engine 311 Lucia-Riverbend Engine 180 Spencer Mt. And Engine 210 High Shoals assisted with primary and secondary search ventilation and overhaul operations. All occupants were safely out of the structure on the Alexiss arrival but a dog was found unharmed inside and removed to be reunited with the homeowner. The Gaston County Fire Marshals Office was called out to investigate the fire. All Alexis and mutual aid companies were back in service at 1100 hrs.
