At 1553 Engine 200 201 and 203 responded to the 3200 block of Sadler Rd for reported smoke showing from the roof of a structure. Alexis units arrived on the scene to find a single story structure with light smoke showing from the roof in the area of the chimney. Crews advanced a line to the roof and subsequently vented the roof by making a 4×8 cut. The hand line was used stop fire which was exterior to the chimney flue and spread to the attic and roof structure. Damage to the structure was contained to the roof and attic area. The chimney flue was also removed and the stove area was somewhat damaged. No other damage was found and all damage would be in the immediate area of the stove and attic and roof above it. Red Cross was contacted and meet the occupants of the structure on the scene. East Lincoln Engine 33 also responded mutual aid for assistance. All Alexis and East Lincoln units were clear at 1702
