Engine 201 and Brush 207 responded to several trees and and a power line down. This was the result of a cold front moving through the area today and bringing with it wind gust of up to 40mph. We had several trees down in the area. This particular call was at the 800 block of Mariposa Rd. in our Gaston County district. Brush 207 found that a large tree had fallen and pulled down two poles with it. One the poles had three primary lines on it. The local power company was advised. 207 remained on the scene due to the hazard until the power company arrived and secured the area.
