E-201 responded to 200 BLK of Upper Spencer Mt Rd in Spencer Mts first due. E-201 arrived first on scene to a one car MVA vehicle versus tree. Vehicle had lost control due to hitting a patch of ice. Patient was free from the vehicle upon arrival. Patient was transported to GMH with minor injuries. NCDOT responded to the scene to spread slag on the roadway. 201 remained on the scene until SHP officer arrived.
