A Wesley Chapel volunteer firefighter died while responding to a call Saturday afternoon.Firefighter Todd Hage 43 was driving the towns fire truck to a call for service when it flipped on Waxhaw Indian-Trail Road in Union County. Hage was the only firefighter on the truck and died at the sceneHe had been working as a volunteer firefighter for about a year and a half. Hage was married and was the father of two children. His visitation will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral at the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail at 732 Fairview Road in Indian Trail.Following the ceremony a firefighters funeral procession will proceed to Heritage Funeral Cremation Services in Matthews where he will be laid to rest.A memorial fund for the family of Todd Hage has been set up.
