At 1938 hrs E-200 and T-208 Chief Robinson responded to reported structure fire on Hoyles Creek Rd in our first due. E-200 arrived on scene to find a single wide mobile home with heavy fire showing from the front of the structure. Lt.Grantland took a crew from E-200 and made a quick knock down of the fire and Lt. Jolly had a primary search of the structure done with crews from Spencer Mt High Shoals East Gaston and Dallas VFD. No occupants were found but a dog was located in a rear bedroom and brought out and was revived by the EMS units on scene. The fire was under control within 15 mins of arrival. The Gaston County Fire Marshals Office was called to investigate the fire along with the Gaston County Police. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at the time. All mutual aid companies cleared within the hour and Alexis and Spencer Mt Volunteers worked on scene for another 3 hours with overhaul and assisting the Fire Marshal with their investigation. Alexis units were back in service at 2330 hrs.
