pstrongnbspEngines 201 and 200 responded to Hovis Rd and Green Rd for a reported house fire in our Gaston Co first due area just two houses outside the Stanley City limits. Stanley Engine 223 arrived on the scenenbspto findnbspa one story wood frame structure with heavy fire and smoke showing. Engine 201 arrived andnbsptook the role of fire attack while Stanleys Chief2200 took command. Alexis firefighters made an aggressive interior attacknbspthought the front door and encountered heavy heat and fire conditions. The fire was in the kitchen area and was blowing out the back windows. Anbspprimary search was completednbspand was all clear. The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes but extensive overhaul nbsphad to be completed. There were no injuries and nobody was at home at the time of the fire. Station 30 East Gaston also responded on the box alarm.strongp
