pnbsp Engine 200 responded to assist East Gaston station 30 with a reported house fire in the 1400 block of Hwy 27.nbspEngine 34nbspMt Holly and EGnbspEngine 300nbsparrived on the scene to find a single story wood frame structure with heavy fire and smoke showing in the rear of the structure. An aggressive interior attack was made through the front door of the structurenbspwith a quick knock down. The fire had made its way into the attic area so crews had to pull ceiling to reach the attic fire. Engine 200 arrived and assisted with interior operations and also took C division exterior operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Gaston County Fire Marshals office. The departments that responded were Eastnbsp Gaston Mt Holly Alexis and Stanley.p
